The Tuesday Children's Workshop theme is Gardening Past and Present where we will dive into what gardening used to look like and how some ancient practices are still used today. Hands on activities will get kids thinking a little more big picture about how plants can be used. Activities will include seed saving, making plant dyes, food preservation by pickling, and grinding our own flour.

Join us as we explain how to garden without putting strain on your body! Our community expert will go over tips and tricks that will help you garden safely this summer!
NOTE: Date and time change to Sat, March 4, 5pm. Lara will share the inspirational story of Backyard Growers, focusing on her journey from artist to non-profit founder and the myriad connections between creating art and growing food.
Join us and local artist Jane Keddy for a fun, hands-on eco and produce printing workshop at 6 pm. The stick around for a talk with local gardening expert Suzanne Gosselin at 7pm to learn the ins-and-outs of starting seeds indoors.
