Backyard Growers will be hosting a free information session about how to start seeds for your flower or vegetable garden on Tuesday, Feb. 2 at 5:30 pm. The event is open to the public and will take place at the Sawyer Free Library Friend Room.
This is a great way to learn about the cost and effort necessary to successfully start seeds in your own home, as well as the benefits and opportunities that growing from seed can offer your garden. We will cover different cost and equipment options based on your budget and requirements, time commitments and tricks for success. At the end of the session, you should have a good idea of whether seed starting is a good option for you and how to get started. There will also be an opportunity to sign up for our follow-up hands-on workshop that will take place in April.
