Spring Cooking Workshop

Join Backyard Growers and guest chef, Nora Hilfinger, of Short & Main to make and enjoy a delicious dinner inspired by the spring garden!

We will start the evening by heading out into the garden to harvest lettuce, kale, scallions, radishes, and other veggies! Participants will then prepare and share a dinner inspired by the spring garden. You will learn the best ways to use your spring garden and pick up some pro cooking tips along the way! All levels of cooking experience are welcome.

  • Backyard Gardener (we built a bed in your yard in 2016 or 2017): Free!
  • Community Gardener (you are a member of Burhnam's Field, McPherson Park, Riverdale Park, or Pond View Village garden): Free!
