2018 Fall Cooking Workshop

  • The Open Door 28 Emerson Ave Gloucester, MA 01930 (map)

Make the most of your fall garden veggies!

Join us to help harvest, cook, and eat a delicious family friendly meal inspired by the fall and winter garden! Learn how to chop and serve up those hardy winter roots like carrots, beets, and parsnips as well as prepare some tasty recipes with fall classics like pumpkin and winter squash. Participants will be led by community gardeners and Backyard Growers staff, and you'll leave with recipes, tips, and tricks to make seasonal menus at home.

Not an experienced cook? No problem! We'll go over the basics, so all levels of cooking experience are welcome.

Please notify us in advance of any allergies in your party.

Tickets $15 for individual, $20 for a family, FREE for families in our Backyard Garden Program or one of our community gardens
