We’re thrilled to host the Growcery at Burnham’s Field! Burnham’s is a vibrant city park featuring two playground structures, basketball courts, public restrooms, a recreational field and two flourishing community gardens managed by Backyard Growers.

Getting Here

There are two free parking lots next to Burnham’s Field, located at the end of Sargent St. and on Pleasant St. across from Holy Cow Ice Cream Cafe.

Street parking is available on several streets adjacent to the park. We ask that anyone parking for the Growcery be respectful of this residential neighborhood.

Burnham’s Field is located 0.3 miles from the Gloucester Train Station, about a 6 minute walk away.

Burnham’s Field is also accessible via CATA bus. It is located near the Sheedy Park stop on the Gloucester Crossing & Business Express Loop.

General Information

The Growcery accepts SNAP/EBT and select vendors accept WIC and Senior Farmers Market Coupons. We also offer Market Mint, our own SNAP match that increases the cash available to SNAP customers to use at the market each week to increase their access to seasonal, high-quality food.
